The method is soil-first. pH, drainage and sun hours are recorded on paper before any drawing begins, so the planting list matches the ground you actually have.
Book a site surveyWe walk the full plot with a tape and a level, note existing structures, utilities and trees worth keeping, then photograph all four corners for the record.
Two auger samples per zone go to a Kyiv laboratory for pH, organic matter, texture and phosphorus. Results arrive in five working days and set the amendment budget.
We log hourly shade from March to October and mark prevailing wind across the plot. A bed that reads full sun in July often sits in four hours of shade by September.
One drawn plan at 1:100 with grading, hardscape and a working plant list in Latin binomials. Two revision rounds are included in the phase fee.
You approve the final plant list and the 24-month care calendar before anything is ordered from the nursery. No purchase happens without that signature.
03 / Service Plates
Every plate below is a fixed-fee scope with a written deliverable. The mini diagram shows the section we build at that stage, from the first probe through to the plant list and 24-month care calendar.

pH, drainage and sun hours are measured bed by bed before a single line is drawn. You receive a site sheet with one reading per zone and a note on where water sits after spring thaw.

Compacted Kyiv clay gets broken, graded and amended to a written schedule. Each pass is logged with depth and material so the build can be checked against the plan later.

Species are selected against measured light and water, then indexed by hardiness zone and bloom month. The finished document lists every plant on site, with quantity and spacing noted per bed.

Paving, steps and low-voltage lighting are set out on a dimensioned drawing, graded so surface water leaves the beds instead of pooling on the terrace. Installed by our own crew, not subcontracted.

04 / Fixed-fee phases
Soil readings come before any drawing, so each phase is priced against measured conditions: pH, drainage rate, and sun hours per bed. Fees below are fixed once the site survey is signed, and every phase lists what it does not cover.

₴18,000 – ₴32,000fixed
Four soil borings, a drainage test pit, and a full sun shadow map across the plot. You receive a concept board, a bed-by-bed layout sketch, and a written list of constraints we will design around.
Excluded: laboratory soil panel, topographic survey by a licensed geodesist, and removal of existing concrete or paving.

₴36,000 – ₴64,000fixed
Working drawings, irrigation zones, lighting runs, and a plant schedule with Latin names, UA hardiness zone, bloom month, and spacing. Settled material take-off for tender by three local contractors.
Excluded: structural engineering for retaining walls, permits, and contractor tender management.

₴24,000 – ₴58,000fixed
Twelve site visits through the build, planting checks at delivery, and a documented 24-month care calendar. The 12-month plant establishment warranty starts on the final planting sign-off.
Excluded: plant stock and hardscape materials, machinery hire, and irrigation repairs after handover.

05 / Site visit
Kyiv office. On-site visits across Kyiv, Lviv, Odesa and Dnipro oblasts.
A site visit runs about two hours. We measure pH, drainage and sun hours on the plot, then send a written summary with the fixed-fee phases that follow. There is no obligation to continue.
